Aisling Posted July 11, 2010 Report Posted July 11, 2010 Started bid at $90 in MSG and was told to add $15 for a better chance of sucess. Declined and restarted bid with $95 and added MTE. Declined. Rebid $98 and added TS. Won Affinia Manhatten.I think this is the lowest price hotel I've EVER won in NYC. Hope I'm happy with the room. :)
thereuare Posted July 11, 2010 Report Posted July 11, 2010 Congratulations on your success... an excellent rate fro NYC.Do note that this hotel does have some reports of 'priceline rooms' which are smaller than the typical standard rooms at this property... if you do receive such a room try to see if you can change (even if for an additional fee if worthwhile to you) and/or speak to the hotel manager to try and work something out. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Enjoy your stay. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
Aisling Posted July 14, 2010 Author Report Posted July 14, 2010 Yes, I've been reading about these "Priceline" rooms. Maybe they will be accomodating if I let it "slip" how much I love reviewing hotels online. *winkwinknudgenudge*At least it's just me and a duffle bag so how much room do I need? :)
