Priceline Hotel: 3.5* Chicago (Airport OHare ORD North) Hyatt Rosemont

One bid for a 3.5* level in the ORD North area at $42 got me a room for one at the Hyatt Rosemont with $13.64 in taxes and fees. (I saw other posts for wins at $43 and decided to go one better)

I've used PRICELINE before but this time I felt like I knew what I was doing and got just what I wanted. I'm driving to Chicago from Michigan for a one day workshop and just needed a place to sleep so I won't have to start my day at 4am and start driving back home that night. The best part? The conference is being held at another 3.5* ORD North hotel where my fellow attendees will be paying $112 a night (group discount rate) for their stays!

I'll be back to review the hotel on Tuesday. Happy bidding to all!

The hotel was very nice. King size bed, mini-fridge and micro. Spacious room, very clean.

The only drawback was that the complimentary shampoo/soap/conditioner/lotions all had this foul scent. I'm a soap maker and scent snob and I've never smelled a worse "Fresh Ginger" in all my life. To make it worse, it was so strongly scented that my hair smelled like it all day. :)

Other than remembering to pack your own toiletries, I'd give this hotel two big thumbs up!

Glad you enjoyed your stay... next trip perhaps pack some manufacturing samples, show them what some good toiletries should smell like, and perhaps gain a new customer out of it :)
