Priceline Hotel: Resort Maui (Wailea-Makena) Wailea Beach Marriott

Hey everyone, i was looking to book on priceline for July 28th to July 31st. Thing is i really want the Wailea Marriott resort but don't know how to go about it. Not sure of the process or best way to bid in order to get the Marriott. If there is anyone who can help to get this hotel that would be great. Thanks.

The Marriott is currently the only reported Resort in this zone. But things can change fast with up/downgrades, new hotels, areas that are re-zoned etc. Please have this in mind when you bid.

I would to spend no more than $130 per night. Not too sure if this is reasonable or not though? As far as the process, do i choose wailea/makena tab and then the Resort tab? Or do i pick the 4 star deluxe tab? Never done a hotel on PRICELINE so really have no clue. Any help would be great. Thanks.

The Marriott was last reported to the board as a Resort class property in the Wailea-Makena zone.

I would work your way up to $130 over the course of 3-4 days, beginning as follows:

At the Resort level you have TWO re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.

(NOTE: 're-bid zone1' is not the same as priceline's Zone1, 're-bid zone2' is not the same as priceline's Zone2, etc, etc)

Select Resort Wailea-Makena...

Bid $93, if rejected add re-bid zone1...

Bid $100, if rejected close browser and this link to re-access PRICELINE

Select Resort Wailea-Makena and re-bid zone2...

Bid $105, if rejected add re-bid zone1...

Bid $110

Ok, so i think i did it right but heres where i'm at now. I picked the wailea-makena area and resort style room and enetered a price of $93. It was rejected and gave me the option to change one of my options. SO i added the kihei area to my search, cause it had no resort style hotels (like it told me to do after reading the re bid thread). I entered a price of $100 and that was rejected. It then gave me the chance to bid a again if i changed one of my options again. So i added the Kahului area to my search because it too had no resort style hotels. I entered a price of $105 and that too was rejected. It then said i can enter a new amount if i change my search options again but the other area, ka anapali has resorts so i obviously don't want to do that. Where do i go from here? Do i now close the browser and stuff and enetr priceline again from the link on this page? I am also a little confused with the re-bid zones you mentioned, not sure what the difference is between re-bid zone and pricelines zones?

Went back and re-bid again after closing the browser and opening it up again through this pages PRICELINE link and ended up getting it for $120 a night. Thank you so much and your help is really appreciated. I never would have been able to get this great deal without this website and your help!!!!!! Thanks again.
