Won San Juan Marriott Stellaris for Feb 13, 2011 for $110 plus taxes.

This was my first bid for Resort for that date.

I was previously bidding for 3.5 star and was up to $100 with no win. Decided to try resorts based on results posted. Very pleased with the result.

We previously won the same property for $155 for Friday night, Feb 24, 2011. Friday nights are higher because there are several cruise ships that leave on Saturday.

Thanks for the reminder. I forgot that some people have booked the Prince on PRICELINE. I am going to check out their website to make sure that the Novotel is not a 4 star. In that case, am I right in assuming that the Prince is the only 4 star in the area? If so, I will give it a try for our next trip.

I am up to $125 for a resort hotel and $75 for a 3 1/2* (last year I got the Sheraton for $70). So far, no luck. Am I too late?

This thread is rickret's win for the Marriott... i'm not aware of any Prince hotel in San Juan. As well, please update your May North York Canada thread with whatever you ended up doing for that stay... as well as THIS THREAD which i'm no long sure of dates or location.

Now I am talking about San Juan. I am trying to get the Marriott (or similar) or the Sheraton for Feb. 12 & 13th. Not having any luck. Do you think I am too late or do you think it will open up again? Thanks.
