Raylew52 Posted July 9, 2010 Report Posted July 9, 2010 Newbie. Staying in Boston 7/28-7/30. My wife and I have 3 children--9, 6 and 4. If I get a bid accepted on Priceline for one room, could I be turned away when I show up with my wife and three kids?Am looking at Quincy Market area, 4 star.
AaronJB Posted July 10, 2010 Report Posted July 10, 2010 Welcome to Betterbidding. :)5 in a room does present a bit of a risk, especially with some older properties (the Omni Parker House is an example in Boston.) Additionally, PRICELINE only guarantees double occupancy/1 bed. HOTWIRE, where you can indicate 4 - would be a better option in this case. Please provide your desired budget per night and we would be happy to see what options may be available. Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
Raylew52 Posted July 10, 2010 Author Report Posted July 10, 2010 Thanks. Am willing to pay up to $180 via PRICELINE or HOTWIRE. Obviously the cheaper the better.
thereuare Posted July 10, 2010 Report Posted July 10, 2010 If you search HOTWIRE for your dates for 2adults/2children does anything appear within your desired star level, zone and budget? Also, please read your messages and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your purchases... and your searches too! Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
