Priceline Hotel: Fort Collins 3.5-3* 7/28/10-7/31/10 help

I am trying to get a 3.5 or 3* room in Fort Collins for 7/28/10-7/31/10.

I have tried the following with no luck.

3.5*

bid $33 Fort Collins

re bid $35 Fort Collins + Loveland

re bid $37 Fort Collins + Loveland + Greeley

Next day

3.5* bid $40 Fort Collins

re bid $45 Fort Collins + Loveland

re bid $50 Fort Collins + Loveland + Greeley

3* $40 Fort Collins

rebid $45 Fort Collins + Greeley

I know I could have tried one more bid for the 3.5*s if I would have closed my browser and unchecked the other option first.

I would like to know if I should rebid closer to the date or if I should just keep bidding higher?

What would you recommend bidding for the 3.5 or 3*?

the big fontier rodeo is in cheyenne wy and every hotel is booked for miles around. i suggest a much higher price. do check availablity on some of the prior wins and see if those dates are even open before too much more bidding as it might be a wate of time veries just finging something open & resaonable in ft collins co area. further south in loveland & greeley is probably a cheaper bet.
