TexasDiver Posted July 8, 2010 Report Posted July 8, 2010 Whew...I've been trying Priceline all week for an acceptable star level & price in Boulder. I tried various combinations, all the way up to $90 for a 3 1/2 star (of course I used BB's PRICELINE link for my searches and bids!). I finally ended up researching the 2.5* options. I figured it would be between the Best Western Boulder Inn and the Holiday Inn Express (which I did not want due to the location and some negative reviews on tripadvisor.com). I started off the bidding at $45 and was given the option of rebidding for $55. I figured I might as well go for it, and I am so glad that I did. I am excited to stay at the Best Western. It looks like a nice place and is close enough to the Pearl Street brew pubs.Final cost:Room: $110Taxes: $20.40Total: $130.40The best available rate on Best Western's site was $248.04 for both nights. That was a prepaid room, too, just like Priceline. Thanks again, BetterBidding!
