I also won 4* Westin Riverwalk for $75 a night for 3 rooms for 7/16 - 7/18.

Rationale: We wanted to stay cheap 15th, 16th, 17th and my wife and I were the only ones going down on the 15th so we decided the 3* Market Square area which has free parking and free shuttle service to the Riverwalk area would be good enough for us that night. We won that for $45. The 16th and 17th our other family was going to join us and we'd need 3 rooms total. We budgeted enough to stay on the Riverwalk but decided to save the money since I won the Holiday Inn in Market Square area for $45 on the 15th. However the problem turned out to be that when I bid for 3 rooms at 3* for 16th and 17th in Market Square area for $45 I got rejected. After each 24hr waiting period I upped the bid each time finally stopping at $66 and got rejected even after adding the Riverwalk area. I wasn't going to pay $70 + for a 3* hotel that isn't going to be on the Riverwalk so I started a fresh bid choosing only 4* in Riverwalk area only and bidding $75 and won The Westin Riverwalk. ( I posted about this also in my post for the winning Westin bid ).
