Priceline Hotel: 4* San Antonio (Riverwalk) Westin Riverwalk

Won the The Westin Riverwalk hotel for $75. We wanted to stay cheap and got the Holiday Inn - Market Square for $45 for Thursday night for one room. Family are going to join us Friday and Saturday night so I tried for several days to get 3 rooms for Fri and Sat at 3* Downtown either Riverwalk or Market Square areas for $45 up to $66 but always got rejected. However I wasn't going to pay $70 + for a 3* not on the Riverwalk so after waiting out the 24hrs after my last rejected bid I put in a new bid for 7/16 to 7/18 only in the Riverwalk area and only for 4* for $75. I figured I would get the Emily Morgan since that is what has been going recently but we really lucked out and got The Westin which is actually on the Riverwalk itself as opposed to Emily Morgan.

Only potential downside to the stay is on The Westin Riverwalk website they report their pool is under rennovation from 7/5 - 7/19. Why a hotel would choose to redo an outdoor pool in the middle of the summer is beyond me but it shouldn't affect our stay much.
