Hotwire Hotel: Scottsdale 5 Star

There are two 5 stars showing on HOTWIRE for Aug. 6th two nights. They are both showing the same amentities: Resort, Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center, Hi Speed, Golf nearby, Tennis nearby, Spa Services, Childrens Activity Program.

One is priced at $133 and indicates recommended in 95% of customer reviews. My guess is Intercontinental Montelucia.

The second is priced at $104 and indicates recommended in 90% of customer reviews. My guess is Fairmont.

HOTWIRE will only show one hotel at each star level in each zone on a given search... which zone(s) are each of the above located? Or if you're having this 5* hotel appear in the same zone on two different searches, what criteria are you using for each search?

I searched on Scottsdale and the two 5 star showed up. I checked this morning and now I am only seeing the one for $104.

Im curious as well. I think the Fairmont is a good guess, buts its just a guess.

I agree with your original guess that the North Scottsdale property above is the Inter-Continental Montelucia.

I believe the 'other' 5* hotel you saw was in the Scottsdale zone (not the North Scottsdale zone) as there is currently a 5* hotel offered there when i search your dates at just about the same price you previously quoted... i'm guessinig the Scottsdale property is the The Phoenician.
