Priceline Hotel: 3* Philadelphia (Downtown) Courtyard

I won a bid yesterday at $57 for the Residence Inn by Marriott for the night of Sept. 11.

They asked me yesterday if I wanted to add a night for the same rate.

I didn't yet know if I wanted to stay at the same place again (I'd like to be closer to 30th Street Station).

I thought I'd take my chances on maybe getting a cheaper room on a separate bid, as it will be Sunday night.

I used the PRICELINE link from the forum.

Today I started with a bid of $57 (same as winning bid yesterday) for 3 1/2 stars in Univ. City.

Then I changed the bid of $55 to 3 1/2 stars for Univ. City and Center City.

Then I changed the bid of $53 to 3 stars for Univ. City and Center City.<==success!

I'll be at the (Center City) Courtyard by Marriott.

I'm excited about staying at this historic property.
