barbemm Posted March 6, 2005 Report Posted March 6, 2005 First bid for 3* hotel in downtown Miami area of $55 was rejected. Was offered to bid again if I upped the bid by $15. Since it was Easter Week and I had checked every decent hotel in the area and they were either no rooms available or the rack rates were $150 and above I decided it wasn't too bad a price. I really wanted the Radisson for my pre cruise night since the location is terrific. I have bid before and gotten the Radisson for $35 in November many times before. Long story short, I upped the bid and was accepted. Got the Sheraton Biscayne Bay (also a nice place stayed there before too) Final bid was $70 plus $17.10 tax so for a total of $87.10 during a holiday week I can't complain. Their website showed rate at $159. :) Check in date Friday April 1, 2005Check out Sat April 2, 2005My offer was $70 Number of rooms 1Number of nights 1Subtotal $70.00Tax andService Chg 17.10Total Charges $87.10
