We are going to visit NY in September 2010. How is the chance of winning 2 rooms for about 3 or 4 nights?

We need rooms from 19/7/2010 till 26/7/10, and the plan is to stay 3-4 nights in one hotel and then move to another one. Budget is around 130$ per room and we like to stay in 3,5 to 4 star hotels.

Your budget is probably not realistic for these dates... what is the best rate you're able to find at an accetpable hotel thru conventional booking channels?

Because of the insane prices we switched to Jersey City.

Had some bad luck there with 4* Hotels too and switched again to Long Island City.

Got the "Holiday Inn Manhattan view", wich is only 3* but seems to be a good one, for 140,-$ per night, 2 rooms, 09/19/2010 till 09/22/2010.

We're still looking for 2 rooms from 09/22/2010 till 09/26/2010, maximum budget 140,-$, if possible 4* or 3,5* in or close to Manhattan.

The hotel is quite clean and good...nice service...limited parking though... and we opted to park in the street...but one of the two cars had the windows busted...just be careful or choose the hotel parking if they have some left...
