Hodog16 Posted July 7, 2010 Report Posted July 7, 2010 First ever bid on Priceline! Thanks to this board for the tips, I did use the PRICELINE link! :) Basically could not go wrong as there were only four 4-star hotels listed (Loews, Marriott, Renaissance, Hutton) on Priceline for Nashville, and I would have taken any of them. I did prefer the Marriott as it is closest to my intended destination.Price range for my date with tax for the above four was $208.80 to 217.82 including a AAA discount according to their respective websites. The Marriott was $216.86 with tax.Started at $60 and worked my way up by $5 finally to $130. Really helped that Nashville has around 9 zones and only one with four stars.Offer: $130Taxes: $33.93Total: $163.93Saved $52.93. I'll take it.
yellowdog Posted July 7, 2010 Report Posted July 7, 2010 Welcome to BetterBidding and congratulations on your success!Thank you for sharing your win with the board and using our PRICELINE link to begin your bidding :) We hope you're satisfied with the outcome and will like the Marriott.Enjoy your stay.Yellowdog.Basically could not go wrong as there were only four 4* hotels listedFYI. You shouldn't use the hotels on the regular booking site as a template. It's two different services with different zones and hotels.
