Hotwire Hotel: Help for waikiki

My friend is going to waikiki July 7 to July 12 for 5 nites.

Problem is what places will allow 5 guests

Two adults, three kids,

A kid can sleep on a couch that's no problem, but they don't want to get kicked out in the middle of the night because they have too many guests.

Any recommendations??

It's tough to try when the youngest is 12 years old (vs. 3-4 years old) so it's a risk that your friend will need to decide if it's worth taking... keeping in mind that not all hotel rooms will necessarily have couch for the youngest to sleep on.
