How far is that from the Carnival Victory (cab fare). And then how much back to the airport from the Inter-Continental.

Which pier does the Carnival Victory leave from... there are two in San Juan, one in Old San Juan and the other at the PanAm (Pan American) Pier.

If you're really looking for a hotel with a great pool (as mentioned in your first post) i wouldn't worry to much about the cost of cab fare to/from the airport and/or pier. Your total costs will be about the same from most hotels in San Juan, the only exception is if you land a hotel in Old San Juan and your cruise disembarks in Old San Juan, at which point you can probably walk to the hotel (but cab fare to the airport may be more as you'll be further away). However, most hotels in the Old San Juan area don't have pool and the Inter-Continental (which is in the Isla Verde section of San Juan) does have one of the best pool areas and beaches in all of San Juan.
