Began this process knowing that I wanted either Times Square, Midtown West or Midtown East.

Started off bidding $70 for 3* in Times Square, knowing that would be hightly unlikely.

Added Coney Island as a free bid and upped my bid to $75.

Bid $80 for 3* in Midtown West and Coney Island. No luck.

Upped to $85 for TS, MTW, and CI. Still denied.

And Finally bid $90 for 3* in TS, MTW, MTE , and CI.

ACCEPTED! Bumped me up to a 3.5* too!

$90 a night for 3.5* in MTW at the Club Quarters - Midtown

Subtotal: $270.00

Taxes and Fees: $60.81

Total: 330.81

Afterwards, I checked the rates on Expedia - $159.00 a night, taxes $27.28 per night, total: $558.84

So, I saved almost $230 which isn't too bad, huh? :)
