Priceline Hotel: Help 3.5* or 4* near Convention Center

Hello. I need to attend a conference at the Convention Center in D.C. I need to book 2 rooms for myself and a colleague. Can you please provide advice on how I can get the best rate? I typically always use a 3.5* hotel on Priceline, but would obviously go for a 4* if that would give me a better chance at a lower rate.

We are travelling July 10 through July 17. I would like it to be within walking distance of the hotel if possible, but would prioritize price over that. Based on the research of what others are getting rooms for in that area, I would love to be able to stay around $70/night.

Are you willing to pay more for a 4* vs. a 3.5* or is your goal the least expensive 3.5* or better... although i will add that i don't think $70 is going to be enough for either, but we can try.

What is the best rate you're able to find at an acceptable hotel thru conventional booking channels?

Hi. I am really most interested in paying somewhere between $70-85 and that seems doable based on the other postings that you have in this area. The lowest the price, the better, while not dropping below the 3.5* rating.

Rates are date specific, and unfortunately they're high enough for your dates above that i think this will be a tough win at your target budget. To give it a try...

At the 3.5* level you have THREE re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.

Bid $70, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $75, if rejected add re-bid zone...
