Best guess is that the 3.5* MSG property is the Ramada New Yorker while the 3* Downtown property is the Holiday Inn Soho (138 Lafayette).

I was checking tripadvisor reviews and trying to match up the reccommendation percentage (85%)

and relooking at the amenities on the Soho hotel (restaurant, business, internet)

I wondered if it could also potentially be the Hilton Garden Inn Tribeca? What do you think?

today I have a rate of $164 for Downtown/Soho 3* on 7/28 -7/30.

If you check the HOTWIRE FAQ there is a link there explaining that the Percent Recommended numbers do NOT come from Tripadvisor, so there won't a correlation between the percent recommended number shown by HOTWIRE and the number shown by Tripavisor (other than if the hotel is generally considered 'good' it should be higher than average and if the hotel is relatively 'bad' the number will likely be lower than typical)

Virtually all 3* hotels in the Downtown-Soho zone will offer Restaurant, Internet and Business, so it could be any of them... but the Holiday Inn has previously been reported to the board with this amenity combination which is why that is our best guess for this one.
