Priceline Hotel: 3.5* in Montreal?

Hi, I am looking to book either a 3.5 or 4* hotel in Montreal. I am looking at going either July 23-25 or July 30-Aug 1. What are the likely hotels for 3.5*? The only thing I saw on the list was Embassy Suites, wanted to know if any other hotels have been won in that rating. Thanks.

Keep in mind that when you select a star rating on PRICELINE it's the minimum that you are willing to accept, so by bidding on a 3.5* property you're also bidding on all the 4* (and Resorts and 5* hotels if offered in the area) too.

I just won on priceline the Hyatt regency for 84 $ by night... great hotel in downtown.. I've been there many times... Parking fee are expensive ( but... where parking fee are cheap in downtown????) I was trying for many days to get a cheap hotel in downtown area but after adding 3.5 * they give me the 4* for 84...

I am looking to stay in downtown Montreal either 7/23-7/25 or 7/30-8/01. With taxes, I'd like it to cost under $120 a night...around a max bid of $92. I'd like to stay in a 3.5* or up.

A $93 bid might be enough for a 4* hotel... did you want to try for a 4* property first OR is the least expensive 3.5* or better what you're seeking?

I'm assuming both dates are equally acceptable?

My friends just visited from NY and stayed at Hotel Brossard, which is on the South shore of Montreal.

If you have a car, it's a great location. 99$/night, free continental breakfast and free parking. You can then decide to take the bus (15 mins ride) or park downtown. They had a car and really enjoyed their stay.

Because we could not find something in our range, and other obligations have come up, we are postponing it indefinitely.
