Hotwire Hotel: 4* Tampa (Downtown) Westin

I'm taking a trip 7/23-7/25 to the Tampa area and I'm trying to identify a hotel there. From what I can tell, the Westin Harbor Island, the Sheraton & the Hyatt there are all the same.

The amenities for the room are Fitness Center, Pool, Restaurant, Business Center, High Speed Internet.

I'm also seeing a 4* hotel for $69 that has the same amenities + smoke-free rooms.(which it looks like sometimes the Sheraton has from the HOTWIRE list, but there's no 4* on the Downtown Tampa hotwire list either :)

I'm trying to avoid staying at the Sheraton after a bad experience I had a while back at that particular hotel.

I read elsewhere you can create a vacation package on hotwire to see hotel's star levels & customer satisfaction review percentage. Does anyone know if these numbers actually match what you see when booking just a hotel?

This is a tough one! I think the 4* is the Westin that got upgraded.

If you change your search to 2 adults + 1 child will the TA rating appear. So my best guess for this would be Hyatt Regency Tampa. But the price will also raise.

This used to be the case, but now that HOTWIRE vacation packages are 'powered by Expedia' this is no longer valid as the star ratings between HOTWIRE and Expedia are not consistent.

Went with the 4* hotel & ordered it, it was the Westin Tampa Harbour Island
