uimagine Posted March 4, 2005 Report Posted March 4, 2005 First of all, let me just say that I thank you all for sharing. I only wished I found this forum BEFORE I booked on hotwire. With that said, I just booked a night at a rate of $254, NYC - Midtown Central, Customer Favorite, and the result was Le Parker Meridien. Now I'm a little worried because I've read some bad reviews at travel websites. Hoping for the best....For some reason, if I searched hotwire without "logging in", the price is 254, yet if i logged in and did the same search, the price is actually 256. Anybody seen weird stuff like this? It happens frequently, when i don't login, its actually cheaper. (just login after you've selected the property, and it'll still be the lower price) But from now, I'll be doing my research here before I make any irrational moves.BTW, any comments on this hotel would be greatly appreciated.thanks!!!
thereuare Posted March 5, 2005 Report Posted March 5, 2005 Welcome to BetterBidding! This hotel should be fine... good location near the Park, close enough to Times Square and whatever else you want to do in the city. Don't know if you've seen the reviews HERE and HERE (feel free to add your own upon your return)I was just passing thru the other day and have posted some pics at our sister site: RealHotelPhotos.com.Enjoy your stay. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
