dimac
When you name your own price with priceline, what are the chances that you get exactly the area and the star you want? Is there a lot of filtering?di Link to comment
AaronJB
You select the zone you want to bid within (for example, Midtown East in NYC) and the star rating. When you bid for a certain area and star rating, you could potentially get any hotel in that particular area at that star rating. Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches. Colfax
Do you mean only one hotel in the zone has been reported to BetterBidding before? There's always the chance some new or unreported hotel could come up for the first time.Or is there physically only one hotel in the zone? What city/zone are you inquiring about? Link to comment
dimac
Hunstville, Ont. Canada...only one "resort" in the area Link to comment
thereuare
If this is the only Resort hotel in the area (and no 5* hotels so no potential for an upgrade) then this would likely be the hotel you would receive... only exception would be if there is another hotel in the zone rated Resort by PRICELINE.What are the date(s) of your stay? What is your maximum bid? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
MrB
Based on my experience the Hunstville resort is Deerhurst but you never know. There are bidding strategies posted but basically you should start from Gravenhurst not Huntsville as it gives you the most bidding options. There is another resort in the area, JW Marriott Rosseau, but you would have to be very lucky to win it over Deerhurst! Link to comment
