Went to TripAdvisor, and the reviews say the hotel is not a 5*, maybe 3*.

Im disappointed that Priceline has it listed as 5*, but Im hoping well enjoy it.

This property is listed as a 5* on Expedia and Orbitz; I've noticed tripadvisor has shown incorrect star ratings for properties in the past.

If you go back to Tripadvisor and view the profile for the NH Barbizon Palace you'll see that while the user reviews are 3.5/5.0, the hotel class is listed as 5*. (look at the star rating under the picture in the middle of the screen)

We won this hotel for a stay in May 2009 and found it comfortable. Our room wasn't huge, but pretty standard size for European hotels and we did have a comfy king size bed. It did have a large bathroom with virtually every type of bath amenity possible - razors, comb, sanitary products, shaving cream..in addition to the standard shampoo, soap, shower cap, etc...

It is also very conveniently located across the street from the train station and transit connections. We literally walked everywhere from there - Van Gogh museum, botanical gardens, restaurants, bars, opera house - great city for walking.
