stharv Posted June 29, 2010 Report Posted June 29, 2010 I've been trying to find a resort in Hilton Head Island, SC on July 12-15. I've bid on priceline at $60, $74, and $84 and have been rejected. I would also be interested in bidding in Charleston and hoping for the Wild Dunes resort. Can I bid today on Charleston even though I was rejected for Hilton Head? Is the Wild Dunes at the Isle of Palms considered a resort or a 4* hotel? I have bonus cash expiring tomorrow and was hoping it would help. Any advice is certainly welcome. This is my first time on the board. Thanks,Steve
thereuare Posted June 30, 2010 Report Posted June 30, 2010 Welcome to BetterBidding! You can see from this Wild Dunes link that this property is currently rated 4* by PRICELINE.In answer to your question, you can still bid the Isle of Palms zone since you have not yet bid that area... any time you add a zone, lower your star rating, or change your check-in or check-out date, it 'removes' the 24 hour lock-out period. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Please note that you can still use your Bonus Cash along with the board's PRICELINE links as follows...1) click the PRICELINE link on the board2) go to the MY PROFILE >> MY REWARDS link at the top right of their home page3) use the bonus money link in the MY REWARDS section of your profile (not a link from an email) and bid as usualLet us know how your bidding goes, or if you'd like help with a bidding strategy, let us know your maximum bid and we'll advise accordingly. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
