Hotwire Hotel: 4* Niagara on the Lake White Oaks Resort

I am looking for either a 3 1/2 or 4 star hotel for 2 nights from July 2nd to July 4th in the downtown niagara falls area. So far I have been bidding in $5 increments up to $130 using the free rebid zones. Any advice you have for a successful strategy would be appreciated.

Please provide your desired budget per night and we would be happy to offer suggestions. The Friday night stay isn't too bad, but the Saturday night looks to be much more expensive at many properties.

At the 3.5* and 4* levels you have FOUR re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.

(NOTE: 're-bid zone1' is not the same as priceline's Zone1, 're-bid zone2' is not the same as priceline's Zone2, etc, etc)

Select 4* Niagara Falls...

Bid $100, if rejected add re-bid zone1...

Bid $110, if rejected add re-bid zone2...

Bid $120, if rejected add re-bid zone3...

Bid $125, if rejected close browser and use our link to re-access PRICELINE

Select 4* Niagara Falls and re-bid zone4...

Bid $130, if rejected add re-bid zone1...

Bid $140, if rejected add re-bid zone2...

Bid $145, if rejected add re-bid zone3...

Bid $150

If the above is rejected close browser and use our link to re-access PRICELINE, and re-try the above using the 3.5* level in stread of the 4* level.

Thanks for the tips! I followed the suggested strategy but I was unsuccessful. I ended up using your HOTWIRE link and got the White Oaks Resort in Niagara on the Lake for $159 per night. I will post in the Hotwire forum with the details.

Was looking for a 4 star hotel in Niagara Falls and noticed that under Niagara Falls there was also a 4 star resort available in Niagara on the Lake and I decided to go with that.

The amenities listed were: Resort, airport shuttle, smoke free rooms, fitness center, pool(s), restaurant(s), business center, high-speed internet access, golf nearby, tennis nearby, spa services, and children's activity program.

The rates on other travel sites for the White Oaks resort were around $204 per night so there is definitely a considerable savings to be had.
