Last week I bid $65 and $75 with no results. This time I bid $83 and got it on the first try. Not sure where it would have hit at exactly. I got this same property at $55 back during the SARS scare so $83 seems a little steep but still it is a very nice place even at $83. They don't give them that 5th star for nothing.

For Priceline properties on Sukhumvit, Sheraton Grand Sukhumvit is still the hands down winner and would be my preference but I am very happy to get JW Marriott. JW Marriott is also the most conveniently located, being just a block from the toll way, so getting to and from the airport is never the slightest hassle. Other Priceline 5*'s, The Westin and Sheraton Grand Sukhumvit are farther from the toll way so if Sukhumvit traffic gets jammed up it can be a minor hassle.
