quietloud
Villa Luxembourg 121 Blvd Du Montparnasse Paris, 75006France2 room(s) @ $123.00 per night x 4 night(s) $984.00 Hotel Taxes and fees: $88.39 Hotel Subtotal $1,072.39 Total Price $1,072.39Was worried about bidding 2 rooms on Priceline for 4* in this zone, and also getting the Sofitel, not Le Meridien, which is a much better hotel, so made a rash decision to go with this on Hotwire believing it to be a different hotel. Subsequently discovered only saved $15 over www.activehotels.com, who don't require upfront payment.Oh well, still looks like a nice hotel.cheersChris Link to comment

quietloud
Amenities are..."Business Center, Laundry Facilities (self-service)."and the hotel was "Best Value" for 3.5*.As a note of warning, I searched Hotwire for a package of air/hotel for the same dates first, and only one 3.5* hotel came up in this zone (The Melia Colbert Boutique Hotel, with Boutique and Laundry as the amenities) - this hotel ( Villa Luxembourg) didn't come up at all in the packages search. When I booked, I got this hotel. In doing some re-checking around 5 minutes after I made this purchase, this hotel was no longer shown on Hotwire, but a hotel with the Boutique/Laundry amenities was suddenly showing, when it hadn't been 5 minutes before.Again, though, should still be a good hotel, just not the great location of the Melia Colbert.cheersChris Link to comment
WillTravel
You might like to ask Hotwire about the laundry icon, particularly if you wanted to get out of the deal or wanted some compensation. The laundry icon says that there's a coin laundry on the premises, but I'm pretty sure that isn't the case at Villa Luxembourg. Link to comment
