smu zta
I would like to try to get the Hyatt Huntington Beach for October 6 - 11. When I search HOTWIRE (through the BB link, of course), I don't see this hotel coming up (from the 4* rating and amenities listed, which from this forum, I understand are: Resort, Near Beach, Oceanfront, Fitness Center, Pool, Restaurant, business center, high speed internet)Is it that I'm just trying to book this too early in the year? Any suggestions on how to get this hotel for that time? I can be flexible on the dates by a day or two. But, I do want this specific hotel and not the Newport Beach one. So, I don't want to use PRICELINE (unless someone has some tips on how to get this hotel through PRICELINE).Thanks so much! I really appreciate your help! Link to comment
AaronJB
Please provide a follow-up with what you decided for the trip discussed in your previous Hotwire Los Angeles thread (post what you decided to do for that trip within that thread), then reply to this thread and we will be happy to look into the above question.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches. smu zta
Done. Thanks for the reminder. I didn't realize I needed to respond to the reply to that post. Thanks! Link to comment
thereuare
HOTWIRE will only show one hotel at each star level per zone... the hotel with the least expensive 'opaque' rate loaded into the system is the one offered. So if what you believe to be the Hyatt Huntington Beach isn't offered for your dates, then, of the 4* hotels in this zone, it does not have the lowest rate loaded in the system. There is nothing you can do to 'make' a specific property appear, although sometimes changing the occupancy level to 2adults/2children or 3adults/0children will change some of the hotel(s) offered. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. smu zta
Thanks! I redid the search (through the BB HOTWIRE link) and chose just Huntington beach as the location and 4 star only. There are no hotels showing up for that search. So, for now, I guess that hotel is not available for those dates. Maybe it's too early. I will try again in August and see if we are close enough to that date yet. Thanks! Link to comment

smu zta
Do you know if the Hyatt Huntington Beach is in the North Huntington Beach region on Hotwire or the Newport Beach / Huntington Beach region? Just trying to determine which one to watch and see if it comes up. Thanks! Link to comment

trukyram
I have been waiting for this hotel for one of the same dates as the OP's preferred dates. So far, no luck. I found that if you change the occupants from 2 adults and 2 children to 4 adults and no children, another 4 star comes up, but it's not the Hyatt. Seeing as this is over the Columbus Day weekend, the dates may be blocked out for Hotwire and Priceline. Link to comment
