Priceline Hotel: NYC 2.5* Hampton Inn

Hey all,

New here and been doing some reading.

I was hoping to target 2 rooms at the Hampton Inn in NYC on July 27 and have noticed several posts regarding these hotels:

Hampton Inn (Manhattan-Seaport-Financial District) - $88

Hampton Inn (Manhattan-Madison Square Garden) - $?

Hampton Inn (Manhattan-Times Square South) - $101-120

Can you give me pointers in how to get any of these hotels? The reason I would like to stay at Hampton Inn is because I plan on using Hilton points on July 28 and July 29.

My budget for the room rate (before taxes and fees) is $100.

There is no way to target a particular property via bidding on PRICELINE; there are a number of 2.5*'s in these zones, and you could possibly get any of them when bidding 2.5* for these areas. One can possibly spot a particular property via HOTWIRE, but the Hampton Inns have been seen only rarely via that service.

Ok I tried to bid for $78 and could not get a 2.5* in the Seaport-Financial District zone. Next tried $85 and added Upper East Side zone. Suggestions on what to do next? Thanks!

Are you still trying to somehow target one of the Hampton Inn properties OR have you resolved to stat at a different hotel for the first nite of your stay?
