BlackJack Posted March 3, 2005 Report Posted March 3, 2005 I am glad I found this discussion forum. I need help getting a hotel from 4/8-4/11 in the middle of the strip. I am going with a friend who has never been to Vegas and I want him to have the true experience. I currently have a room reserved at the Stratoshere but feel that this it too far from the action. The rate at the Statosphere is like $75/night. I am worried about picking a 4* on Priceline and ending up with something too far from the strip. Can anyone help me? What might I get when selecting a 4*? I am trying to figure out if I can get something for around $100/night in the middle if the strip.Thank You!
thereuare Posted March 4, 2005 Report Posted March 4, 2005 I don't think you have a good chance at success with a 4* or 5* under $100 for these dates. As well, given the price differential for the weekend/midweek date, you'll likely have to SPLIT YOUR BID. You do have a good chance for the nite of the 10th, but not for the weekend nites.I think your best bet right now for a complete stay is to see if easyclick can honor an 'on request' rate at the Imperial Palace for an average rate of $99/nite.I would probably see if i could get the 3 nites at the IP above, then if successful, try for a 5* for Sunday nite (given that the Venetian and IP are right next to each other this should be an easy move). The SAHARA is also available for an average rate of $79/nite, which at least puts you a little closer than the Stratosphere.Let us know how you make out and want to proceed.
