A bit remote (across from Airport) from where I had hoped to stay. The hotel was on HOTWIRE for $115. I waited a day and HOTWIRE price went up to $119 so I made a PRICELINE bid for $99, got it. First bid was $115 for Coronado 4*, then added downtown/harbor island for $99, would have preferred more downtown (this hotel is at edge of priceline area, or harbor island). Looks like it's 2 miles from the touristy stuff. As of today HOTWIRE price is $123. Decent deal. Looks like prices are going up not down, it's the week after comicon, though comicon didn't see to be affecting prices in this area. Glad for the pool.

Sorry SYSOP... tried to edit header but can't. Thought dates were in text of post.

Dates are for July 28-July 31, 2010. Since I saw many $75 sucesses for this hotel didn't think such a great deal, but this is for summer time, and I see someone worked hard for a $115 bid in August.

Interestingly, HOTWIRE price for this time period is now down to $112.
