DaytonTim Posted June 23, 2010 Report Posted June 23, 2010 I am hoping to stay in Mackinaw City on July 19-20 and saw on Priceline that a two star was recently booked for $60. Any ideas as to which hotel this might be? The only hotel I saw on the pinned list was in Gaylord, not Mackinaw city. Thanks for your help.

DaytonTim Posted June 29, 2010 Author Report Posted June 29, 2010 I'm sorry, I hadn't realized I hadn't followed that post up. We had to go down for an unexpected funeral and I guess I just didn't get anything posted. Thanks for your site and for your help.

thereuare Posted June 29, 2010 Report Posted June 29, 2010 The Baymont Inn and Suites and Holiday Inn Express would be at least two possibilies at the 2* level. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know whatever you decide to do for this stay or if we can be of further help. DaytonTim Posted July 5, 2010 Author Report Posted July 5, 2010 Thanks for your help, I think both of those are possibilities but I hate to take a shot in the dark since there are some 2 stars in Mackinaw that seem to get low reviews. Hotwire is offering a two star for the same dates for $47 with the following amenities (Beachfront, non-smoking, complimentary breakfast, pool, high speed internet, and golf nearby) Do I need to start a new thread for some help narrowing the possibiliteis of this hotwire property? As always, thanks for your help!
AaronJB Posted July 5, 2010 Report Posted July 5, 2010 This HOTWIRE property has not yet been ID'd/reported to the board, but I'm also seeing a HOTWIRE customer approval rating for this listing of 45%, which is quite low. Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.

DaytonTim Posted July 17, 2010 Author Report Posted July 17, 2010 There were enough hotels that got very poor reviews that I didn't want to risk it. We booked the Clarion for $99 for the night
AaronJB Posted July 17, 2010 Report Posted July 17, 2010 Thank you for closing the thread. Please use the site's links in the support/travel section to book regular rate purchases. Enjoy your stay. :)
