SunnySarah Posted June 21, 2010 Report Posted June 21, 2010 I just won the Westin Diplomat for $65/night for July 3, 2010-July 5, 2010 on Priceline. It lists the beach location as the address, so I'm assuming that is where my room will be, at the beach and not golf location. I would be happy with either given the great price. I'm new so if I need to post elsewhere, etc let me know.

SunnySarah Posted June 21, 2010 Author Report Posted June 21, 2010 Anyone have a list of the additional charges for the Diplomat? I have found parking is $25 valet, $20 selfpark. I've read there is a fee for some of the beach chair/umbrellas? And internet. I've experienced this all another local Westin location, that wasn't near the beach. For this price and beach I'm willing to pony up some extra $$, just want to budget correctly.
yellowdog Posted June 21, 2010 Report Posted June 21, 2010 Westin doesn't have any resort fee. But the beach chairs are $20-25, i can't remember. My guess for an umbrella would be $40-50.They will nickle and dime you for everything "beach" releated. You have free WiFi in the lobby. I don't know the room charge.Yellowdog.
SunnySarah Posted July 14, 2010 Author Report Posted July 14, 2010 I had read several places that self-parking in the garage across from Westin Diplomat was $20 a day. We parked and then walked over the sky bridge to check in, I showed the lady my ticket hoping it would be charged to the room. She gave me a card that had our stay dates on it and told me to show it to the parking booth when we exited. I just checked my credit card and the only charge was for the dining we did in the lobby, no parking fee. The sign in the parking garage did state $20 a day, but I wonder if others didn't know to get the "guest" card from Westin?
