cheapdigs Posted June 20, 2010 Report Posted June 20, 2010 First bid of $41 for Forest Park-Clayton rejected (was hoping for Sheraton from reading previous posts). Added Downton for $45 - accepted. Two rooms for 2 nights, total with taxes and fees - $217.92; self parking will be another $19 a day. I was bidding 3.5*, but I think the Hyatt is actually 4*. All in all, a pretty sweet deal! Oh, and of course, I used the PRICELINE link on BetterBidding.
AaronJB Posted June 21, 2010 Report Posted June 21, 2010 Congratulations on your success. :)Quite a nice deal for this property!Thank you for sharing your result with the board and using the site's PRICELINE link.Enjoy your stay.
Yagermeister Posted June 22, 2010 Report Posted June 22, 2010 Another poster recently gave some helpful parking advice for the Hyatt:"Just stayed at the Hyatt Regency, great place, wonderful location. Great score to the Arch, baseball stadiums and eateries. Ruth Steakhouse is attached to the hotel.Just one tidbit about parking, you can park at the hotel for $25. There is a much cheaper parking garage on the next block call Mansion. $10 over night during the week and $3 overnight parking on the weekends. Of course the St Louis Cardinals were NOT in town so that could change. Not sure though."Hope this helps.

The Cards are at home both nights we'll be there, but it will still be worth checking out.
