Priceline Hotel: Resort Maui failed bids 9/16

Started with Resort level in Wailea-Makena, aiming for the Wailea Marriott at $92. Added zones and bids at $94, $96, $100.

With all zones selected, PL gave me an option of adding 4* and changing the bid, so I dropped back to $92. In desperation, I added 3.5* and bumped the bid back up to $101. All failed.

It may still be early, but at the moment i think you're looking more in the $50-$175 range for these dates... Is $101 your maximum bid for this stay?

HOTWIRE has what looks to be the Royal Lahaina for $109 if that is of any interest.

Resort Maui failed bids 9/16 1 night, resort bids up to $100

Ok, I had a change of plans, but now we are confirmed. I need to bookend a timeshare stay in with 1 night on 9/16 and two nights on 924 & 25. Yeah, I know, I am changing hotels twice in 10 days. But it is 10 days in paradise! :)

Anyways, down to business, I bid the first night 9/16 started with resort level in Maui (Wailea - Makena) at $93, and added zones and rebid at 95, 97, and 100. With all zones selected, I added 4* and dropped the bid to $93. All failed.

For this solo nite, what is your maximum bid... at the moment i don't think $100 is the right ballpark for a Resort or 4* on these dates.

At this point, I think we are going for 1 night out in Hana for 9/16 (no PRICELINE or HOTWIRE hotels out there!), I created a new post to bid for the last two nights of the trip

i am also trying the sept1-sept5 days on the price line for the makena for ~ 120$ but all failed. I have seen that makena resort winning big of 120$ is good ..i will keep on trying and if you get luck do share ...
