Sorry. I considered that San Diego one closed when I said I was going to keep looking. Anyhow, I just responded with our non-HOTWIRE accommodations, for what it's worth.

I can't get the same hotel to appear on my search. How many rooms/adults/children did you search for? Can you please run a new HOTWIRE search and confirm that you still can see this hotel on your search.

The 3* i see on my search got: Complimentary Breakfast, Fitness, Business, HS Internet

I searched for one room/2 adults/ 2 children. I've been able to repeat the search a couple of times. Yesterday and today, it shows up for $169. Definitely just Fitness Ctr., Business, HS Internet.

The double vs. quad occupancy is why we were originally seeing different offerings than you.

This property has not yet bee reported to the board as-is but my guess is that this may likely be the Holiday Inn Express Madison Square Garden with a 'missing' Complimentary Breakfast icon.

Ended up going with a different Hotwire listing that did have the free breakfast icon and, indeed, it was the Holiday Inn Express MSG for only $159. Seems like a good deal.
