I tried several bids on economy through midsize in the $12-$16 range over the course of a few weeks, all rejected. The price on other sites (Travelocity, Orbitz, etc.) wasn't going down much, so I put in my first bid of $18 & got accepted.

Yes, I used the links from Better Bidding - is there an easier way to find these links than looking in threads? I thought they might be on the home page, but I can't find them.
