Priceline Hotel: New Orleans 4*

I am looking for a nice hotel with large outside pool and lounge area. Looking at the reviews I would like to stay at the Omni Royal NO or Royal Sonesta. I have read up on your rebidding tips (wish I had done that earlier!) and identified the areas that I will include on my bid. My problem, I've seen the Iberville and Marriott "win" on here quite often and those are places that I do not want to win and unfortunately it is the same star and same area.

Any tips/clues?

You can't bid on a specific hotel when using PRICELINE. You need to be willing to stay at any ?* or higher in the zone you're bidding at.

If you're trying to target a specific property then HOTWIRE can often be a better option if you're successfully able to identify it based upon the star rating and amenities shown before your purchase... the trade-off is that HOTWIRE usually costs a little more than PRICELINE, so you need to decide what is most important to you for a given stay, the lowest possible price OR the ability to take an educated guess as to the property you may receive.

I ended up booking at Harrah's but did not stay there. I had kids with me and the hotel was seperate from all of the restaurants they have and my kids were not allowed to go into those buildings. I tried the Omni then but their pool was out of order and that was one of our main priorities. We checked out and drove to Biloxi and rented condo! Ended up stayin in NO only about 6 hours, but that was enough for me, we wont be back.
