stompy Posted June 17, 2010 Report Posted June 17, 2010 For 06/18/10-06/19/10 I wanted a 3* hotel near the Buffalo Airport (specifically hoping for the Millennium). I first bid $30 on the Buffalo Airport area which was rejected. There was a counter-offer by Priceline to keep the same criteria as long as I increased my bid by at least $10. I turned this down given that there were 2 other regions without 3* hotels.I then bid $32 by adding the South Buffalo area and my offer was accepted! It turned out to be the Millennium. :)The total including taxes and such came out to $43.63. Pretty good since the 3* on Hotwire is $62.40 including tax!
