ysl Posted June 17, 2010 Report Posted June 17, 2010 got it on 1st try. Should start from lower price. :) Stayed here three times before. First two times didn't use HOTWIRE or PRICELINE, the room I got was very nice, fairly large room, comfort bed, relatively new sheet and pillows. Last time, booked this hotel by bidding on PRICELINE, then they give me a very small, dark room, bed cover looks very old. however, cannot complain, since already saved half from bidding on PRICELINE. I will wait and see what kind of room I will get this time.
AaronJB Posted June 17, 2010 Report Posted June 17, 2010 Congratulations on your success. Superb deal for this property! Hopefully this stay will go well! :)Thank you for sharing your result with the board and please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.Enjoy your stay.
thereuare Posted June 17, 2010 Report Posted June 17, 2010 If you're not happy with the room assigned you can always try to ask nicely for a different room. If the hotel isn't busy you may get a nicer room just for asking, or may be offered an upgrade for an additional fee... which if $20-$30 still puts you way ahead of the game. :)Enjoy your stay and let us know how the room assignments go.Good luck! Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
robteb Posted June 17, 2010 Report Posted June 17, 2010 If you join the free Delta Privilege program, the Delta Chelsea has a priority check-in desk and they will almost always try to upgrade you to the south (newer) tower which has the nicer rooms. I have used my Privilege card several times with PRICELINE wins, and have always been treated well!! After you join, make sure you call the hotel and have your new membership number added to your reservation.
