Hotwire Hotel: Identify 5* Newport Beach-Huntington Beach

I had seen a thread on this earlier but wasn't sure if this hotel was ever correctly identified. This is for 6/18-6/20 5* in Newport-Huntington Beach.

Amenities are:

No Smoking

Fitness Center

Restaurant

Business Center

High Speed Internet

Golf Nearby

Spa

Someone thought this was the Island Hotel Newport Beach. Is that correct?

Nobody has purchased this hotel yet thru HOTWIRE so we don't know what it is, but this is the 5 Star Hotwire Hotel thread you were referring to in which it was guessed that this could be the Island Hotel Newport Beach.

If you've made any PRICELINE or HOTWIRE purchases over the last 6 years it would be appreciated if you began to share your results with the board so that the information can best help others... perhaps somebody on the board has purchased this 5* hotel but hasn't posted their win.

Thanks. My friend was looking into it so if she books the hotel, I will let the board know. Pelican Hill seems to be the only true 5* in Newport Beach but The Island Hotel usually comes up on the 5* lists and is rated a 4.5*. Anyway will let you know if my friend bids on the hotel.
