missnorthking
Im debating between priceline and hotwire for 6/20-6/24 in downtown nashville. I want to avoid the Millenium Maxwell House if I go the priceline route...I see some people have won indigo and holiday inn select (my fav!) ...Any suggestions on how to stay clear of MMH but stay in the 3 star zone in same location??? yellowdog
Please keep all posts in the same thread since posts are for the same dates. We will edit and move your thread in the end.Sorry to say that you can't bid on/avoid a specific hotel when using PRICELINE. You need to be willing to stay at any 3* or higher in the zone you're bidding at.How do you want to play this? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Yellowdog. missnorthking
Sounds good, I separated em to avoid confusion, whatever works for yall. I guess first any help identifying those hotels on HOTWIRE? I figured perhaps you had a lil more insight on PRICELINE bids, ex. booking more nights in a row tends to garner a holiday inn select win or something like that...if not Ill probably stay clear to avoid that MMH. So Im back at square one I suppose...if you could help identifying my hotwires listed in earlier post I would appreciate it!Used your links to search and bid... Link to comment
yellowdog
missnorthkingI'm sorry to say that none of the hotels are ID'd or reported to the board. And a 2.5* with only a pool and no additional clues on HOTWIRE is just to hard to take an educated guess on. I have really been trying with the 3.5* but no go for a guess with substance.got denied at 32, 35, and 38 adding areas each time. So Im back at square one I supposeWhat is your budgett/night for this stay?Let us know.Yellowdog.PS. thanx for using boards PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links Link to comment
missnorthking
I think the 3.5 star is Hotel Indigo? Lower is better, which is why I went for that wingate for the 35-40 range, ill go up to 60 if I have to if its the right deal. I might end up grabbing that 3.5 star, just didnt want to pay the extra 20 bucks a day for parking!! Need to get this done today... Link to comment

missnorthking
Quick review, hotel was REALLY nice. Very happy with my stay, rooms were HUGE, the 2 bed rooms even have a separate sitting area with couch, another tv etc...Only bad thing is the valet is 23 a night but its worth it, valet guys were great and fast!! Good restaurant and bar in the lobby with delicious breakfast and had some dinner there as well which was great! Link to comment
