Priceline Hotel: 4* London (The City-London Bridge) Thistle Tower

This is our first priceline bid, and we found the information on this forum very helpful during our bidding process. We initially tried to bid for 5* hotels in various areas in London but couldn't find anything below $200. After switching to 4* hotels, we ended up with The Tower - A Guoman Hotel for $140 per night + taxes and other service charges. It is not currently listed in the priceline hotel list, so hopefully this can be updated.

Sorry that I was not able to see this thread before leaving for the trip. If this is still of any use, we stayed in the Guoman Tower Hotel between June 24 and June 28, 2010.

Our experience with the hotel is mixed. It has a very nice view of the Tower Bridge and the room is spacious and clean. However, they mistakenly charged the entire stay on my credit card when we checked out. Even though they credited it back on the same day, the difference in conversion rate was about 40 CAD. I've contacted their management regarding this issue, and will post an update when it's resolved.
