I am looking for 4 star for the dates 8/16-8/20 in the The Loop or Magnificent Mile areas with a budget of no more than $100/night. While I have never used PRICELINE for Chicago before, my travelling companions have had plenty of success in other cities. There will definitely be two of us and maybe even a third, so our worry is getting a boutique hotel with one bed in the area, as they seem to be very plentiful. Like I said this hasn't been a problem in other cities, which is what led us here. Any suggestions for those dates would be great!!! We definitely plan on using this site now that we have found it as we use PRICELINE quite often. Thanks!

Started bids at $65, added re-bid zones up until $80. I called the hotel to make sure it was a double bed, which it wasnt. The first time I talked to them they said it would be an extra $40 for an upgrade. I called the next day and they said $30. I ended up getting the upgrade for an extra $25 a night which I think is quite reasonable.

This is really an outstanding deal for this Gold Coast area property. The Original Pancake House across the street is a nice choice for breakfast, and there are a wide range of restaurants within the blocks around the hotel. I'll also note the Clark/Division Red Line station is only a few of blocks away.
