yael Posted June 14, 2010 Author Report Posted June 14, 2010 hi!I've tried priceline. com, and I saw I can just add a price of my own, and they accepted almost everything! i got 40$ per night at a 5* hotel at the north of the strip in las vegas between the dates 27-30/08/10. is it even possible? can i trust it? I'm really new at this... can you tell me which is better? north or south of the strip? and how can i find the details about the hotel or upgrade my room?thanks so much for all your help!yael
thereuare Posted June 14, 2010 Report Posted June 14, 2010 Please keep all posts for the same stay in the same thread.Your $40 "bids" are not not accepted bids... you're simply looking at the 'confirm the details of your bid before we submit it" page to ensure that all your information (star rating, zones, checkin, checkout, dates) is correct. If you haven't yet entered your credit card information, nor clicked a button which reads "Buy My Hotel Room Now" (or something to this effect) then PRICELINE has not yet checked for availability for the dates of your stay. Before we ID more HOTWIRE properties... what is your goal for this stay? PRICELINE is usually a little cheaper than HOTWIRE, but HOTWIRE gives you the ability to take an educated guess as to the property offered before your purchase based upon the amenities shown. What is more important for this stay... the lowest possible price OR the ability to have a guess as to the property you may receive? Also, for future posts, please include only the amenity names (and not the descriptions) as it will make your posts easier to read.Let us know how you'd like to proceed and we'll take it from there. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
