hellokitty637 Posted June 13, 2010 Report Posted June 13, 2010 Hi, I've been trying to get a hotel in NYC for 06/24-06/26 for around $130 a night. I'm open to several areas including, MTE, MTW, Central Park South, Chelsea, Times Square, etc...and I keep getting the message, "We're still working on your request" and it says that they will have an answer within 15 minutes. Every time we click on Check the status, it rejects our offer. It started giving me the message at around $115 and I've gone up to $130 with the message. Do you know what it means? Please help! Thanks!

I am open to Chelsea, MTE, MTW, UWS, CPS, Times Square, and Empire State. I started at $115 and went up usually in increments of $5 up to $130. Thanks for you help!

However, i'll comment that i don't recommend UWS at the 3* level as some of these properties may go a bit further north that you would/should stay.I'll provide a strategy below with UWS in parenthesis and you can decide if you want to include this zone or not.At the 3* level in NYC you have ONE re-bid zone. Can you explain the differences in strategies? I ended up splitting the nights since I saw that Friday night was cheaper and got the Hudson in CPS for $155. I still need to get Thursday night and am open to moving to another hotel so I will use your strategy. I'll update if I get the Thursday night. Thanks again!
