It turned out differently to be what I expected... not in a good way as it's a fair way out. Some you win and some you lose...It's the only option for the Gold coast on Hotwire (and Priceline don't have any biddable premises either) so hope this may be useful for someone in future. It's still (marginally) the best deal around for this hotel, so just depends whether it's what you're looking for. Quality Hotel, Mermaid Waters (Gold Coast) AU for 10 - 13 July 2010, for US$65 + charges /night.
