joehotel Posted February 27, 2005 Report Posted February 27, 2005 Wanted a 3 star for a Saturday night in Cleveland Independence-Beachwood.Started at $30, bid 33, 38, and 45 with free-re-bids, no luck.Had my spouse bid $48, 53, 57, and finally $65 got me the room!Hilton Cleveland East/Beachwood$65 plus $17.81 tax/fees = $82.81 total.Lowest web rate non-refundable was $95.Also I see from the Hilton website that the Hilton Cleveland South (Quarry Lane, in Independence) was completely booked.
