lynn99 Posted June 10, 2010 Report Posted June 10, 2010 Possibly the Georgian Terrace if the rating did change? No "boutique" listed in the amenities though...3* Amenities: Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, BusinessSearched for 1 night 7/9, comes up $79.Others that come up...3.5*, Restaurant, Laundry, High speed (must be the Indigo) also for $79.TIA!Michelle

thereuare Posted June 11, 2010 Report Posted June 11, 2010 Best guess for the 3* is the Georgia Tech, downgraded from the 3.5* level (NOTE: this is a different property than the Georgia Terrace which you've mentioned above). I have no evidence of the downgrade but based upon the amenities and rating this would be my best guess.I agree the 3.5* looks like the Hotel Indigo and that would be my best guess for this one. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. lynn99 Posted June 11, 2010 Author Report Posted June 11, 2010 Thanks for all the info! I was wanting one close to the Fox theater, was hoping it might be the Terrace. I decided to go with a PRICELINE bid, and got the Renaissance (will add to the PL board). I used the board link! Thanks again for the help!
lynn99 Posted June 11, 2010 Author Report Posted June 11, 2010 Wanted a hotel close to the Fox theater (so we could park once and walk there); both Georgian Terrace and the Renaissance had the lowest "regular" prices for 3.5* in the Midtown & Downtown zones, so was hoping I'd get one of them instead of another (but bid cheap enough it would be ok to deal with MARTA/taxi/etc)With so many rebid zones, I started way low and worked my way up 1 or $2 at a time. $50 was unsuccessful, but $51 got the Renaissance. FYI, AAA rate for the same night was $83. The savings will pay for the ridiculous parking fees.I used the boards PRICELINE link.
AaronJB Posted June 11, 2010 Report Posted June 11, 2010 Congratulations on your success. :)Very nice deal for this Renaissance property, and glad to hear the hotel will work well for your plans.Thank you for sharing your win and using the PRICELINE links on the board to begin your bidding.Enjoy your stay.
gallafam Posted July 12, 2010 Report Posted July 12, 2010 Lynn99:Across the street from the hotel is the hospital parking deck. It charges $6 per day. The deck access is one street east from the hotel (head for hospital visitor parking)
